 We
have 2 Fokker D.VII's and a Pfalz D.XII doing a bit of skud running across
the map. They were attempting to bring down an allied balloon. |

ORIGINS 2004
 An
allied formation on their way to intercept a flight of German
aircraft. Colonel Rosenberger's white US SPAD XIII was a popular
aircraft during the con. All three of these aircraft were assembled
and painted by Mark. |

ORIGINS 2004
 Major
Scott Lloyd finally earns his 15th aerial victory and is happily promoted
to Lt. Colonel. Earlier in the convention he lost 3-4 die rolls for
contested kills. We forced his 15th victim to salute along with the
rest of the company. |
ORIGINS 2004
 Lt.
Colonel Lloyd intently ponders his options. The allies are defending
their balloon and have hung back in a proper defensive position.
Face the allied planes or the AA guns. We see here that the decision
was a tough one. |

ORIGINS 2004
 The
Germans flying high while approaching their target. An allied S.E.5a
has blundered into their path. It took some quick thinking and fast
flying to avoid being shot down. Unfortunately by being out of
position, it allowed the Germans to down the balloon. |
ORIGINS 2004
 The
allies on the attack. Here we see 2 Sopwith Snipes, 2 S.E.5a's and 2
SPAD XIII's traveling down the fatal funnel towards their prey. |

renders the appropriate salute. |
ORIGINS 2004
 A
German Pfalz D.XII and Dr.I seem to have placed themselves in a good
position to deal out some damage. Although in good position, it is a
dangerous spot as they are outnumbered. Notice the SPAD XIII closing
for battle just off to the right. |

ORIGINS 2004
 An
absolutely beautiful Fokker Dr.I paint job by Lt. Colonel Steve
Lloyd. That lozenge camo scheme is hand painted, not a decal.
A fantastic job! |
ORIGINS 2004
 Captain
Joe Merz being promoted to the rank of Major after obtaining his 10th
aerial victory. Notice that Joe chose a seat next to the medal
display. We think he intends to win a few and wanted a closer look. |
