WINTERCON 2005
 A
new Aerodrome Great Lakes record! 24 players in a single
mission. We used 18 wooden and 6 dry erase control panels. We
used two maps which doubled the playing surface and found that it worked
out fine.

WINTERCON 2005
 11
Allied aircraft start in formation. Their task is to inflict damage
on an enemy troop convoy heading towards the front.

WINTERCON 2005
 The
allied formation has crashed in to the Central Powers defense. The
allies didn't fair well and were virtually annihilated. This theme
was continued for most of the day.

WINTERCON 2005
 A
dogfight mission winds down. We see that only 10 of the starting 22
aircraft are still in the air. This mission appears to be yet
another overwhelming Central Powers victory. We see Captain R.
Siegle staring intently at the map, he was seeking his 5th aerial victory
for the day. |

Little Wars 2005 Here
we see Lt. Tarka demonstrate why going in to a spin on the 3rd increment
of a turn, is a bad idea. As we can see here, 5 allied aircraft
turned on her stricken aircraft and she is in big trouble. This is
the 1st time I've witnessed a victim being boxed in on 5 of 6 hex sides
within an increment of a spin. Greedy allies!!

Little Wars 2005

Trying to take a photo of Lt. Tarka, we can observe
that she was faster than the lens on my digital camera and got under the
table prior to the photo capture. It is a nice shot of of 3 chairs
however. Notice the finger pointing in the background, that was Lt.
Fehrenbach pointing out Lt. Tarka's situation.

Little Wars 2005
 A
tricky GM (me) took this photo of Lt. Tarka as she witnessed the 5 allied
aircraft shred her aircraft. Lt. Fehrenbach is on the left, Lt. E.
Sabo on the right and Lt. Tarka's guardian in the back right portion of the
photo.

Little Wars 2005
 Our
highest ranked female pilot, Major Jenny Plett waves the Union Jack.
Jenny refused to leave the table for dinner rather than be late for the
start of the next session. A true Aerodrome pilot!
