Colonel

Stan Hamm

Stan currently has 57 aerial victories in our Aerodrome campaign.  Stan started flying at Drums Along the Maumee in 2003 and quickly demonstrated the proper use of a SPAD XIII by smacking everyone in the air with some lead.  After a brief dry spell, Stan returned to his old form, won a couple events and an Ace of Aces title. Stan is an accomplished painter and has begun assembling his own stable of magnificently painted aircraft.  Stan has won a few awards, they are:

Replica Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max)
Imperial German Iron Cross Ensign Flag
UK Kings Colors Flag

Ace of Aces - Advance the Colors 2004
Aerodrome Knights Cross
Aerodrome Pilot Wings (gold)

Colonel

Steve "The Toe" Lloyd

Steve currently has 52 aerial victories and was one of 3 pilots who earned their Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max) medals at Advance the Colors 2004.  Steve started out flying the nimble yet fragile Fokker Dr.I.  He flew it very well and then as he gained experience, he began flying it too aggressively and went through a period of being torched frequently.  Steve then went back to his old style and his opponents regained their fear of the tri-plane.  Steve is a dedicated participant and has rendered good service to our campaign.  Steve has painted some superb aircraft for his and Colonel Scott Lloyd's use.  As always, I hope to have some photos of his planes soon.  Steve has won:

Jolly Roger Pirate flag
Aerodrome Knights Cross
Aerodrome Pilot Wings (silver & gold)

Colonel

Scott Lloyd

Scott currently has 79 aerial victories and was one of 3 pilots who earned their Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max) medals at Advance the Colors 2004.  In several Ace of Aces competitions, he has finished on the heels of the victor.  Scott has been a steady efficient pilot but went through a period of time where he could not win a contested kill roll-off.  We even implemented Rule #4 (you'll have to ask him about it) briefly until he finally broke out of his rolling slump (and earned some uncontested kills).  Scott is an enthusiastic participant and always seems to be in the thick of things.  I was proud to be present when he won his Blue Max.  Scott poaches off his father's painting talents and now often flies a purple, yellow and black Fokker D.VIIa, which was constructed for his personal use.  Scott has won:

Replica Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max)
Ace of Aces Origins 2005
Authentic WWI Bulgarian Participation medal
Aerodrome Knights Cross
Aerodrome Order of the Black Eagle
Aerodrome Pilot Wings (silver & gold)
Irish Provinces Flag
Ireland Flag
USA Don't Tread On Me Flag
