Colonel

Rodger Kruse

Rodger seldom gets to participate as a player.  Rodger is heavily involved in HMGS-Midwest and runs the superior historical miniatures  convention, Little Wars, in Chicago each year.  Rodger is a good player, a great sport and is an asset to both our Aerodrome campaign and the historical miniatures hobby.  Rodger has won:

Ace of Aces Drums Along the Maumee 2003
Ace of Aces Historicon 2004
Replica Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max)
Authentic US Army Distinguished Service Cross.
Replica 1914 Iron Cross medal.
Aerodrome Knights Cross
USA SeaBees Flag

 Colonel

Jim Page

Colonel Page has been a quiet, yet positive addition to our campaign.  He has gone about earning his victories in a calm and business like manner.  Jim has attended two conventions where (like a marathon man) he played in every single mission I ran.  He seems to avoid detection and until one suddenly finds Colonel Page's Nieuport 28 spitting lead and inflicting damage on their aircraft. Jim has won:

Replica Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max)
WWI Imperial German Iron Cross Ensign Flag
Imperial German Naval Ensign Flag
Aerodrome Knights Cross
Aerodrome Pilot Wings (silver & gold)

 Colonel

Matt "Irish" Kochensparger

Colonel Kochensparger entered our campaign at Origins.  He participated rather late in the convention and swiftly made everyone aware of his presence, shooting down everything within range and winning the event.  While the pace of his kills has cooled, he continues to demonstrate a marked proficiency at Aerodrome.  Matt has proven to be a terrific, loyal member of our campaign and of the gaming hobby.  Competitive yet always demonstrating good sportsmanship, we wish him continued fortune in the convention skies. Matt has won:

Replica Orden Pour le Merite (Blue Max)
Aerodrome Pilot Wings (silver & gold)
1st Regiment Irish Brigade Flag
Imperial German Naval Ensign Flag

Colonel Kochensparger with his Blue Max.  Notice the Ohio State Buckeye hat & shirt.  Obviously a big OSU fan, but then so am I.

Colonel Kochensparger having his Blue Max pinned on.  First time we've pinned one to the hat of a new colonel.  But check out the close-ups of the OSU logos...have to love that!
